About
Hika Scharrer studied Production Design at Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Berlin and Painting/Graphic Art at Academy of Fine Arts, Karlsruhe, Germany. A graduate scholarship brought her to London in 2008 where she has been doing drawing, illustration, visuals and storyboards for Art Directors and Interior and Set Designers since. After the recent birth of her two daughters Hika has expanded her field of work doing illustration for picture books.
Projects include ‘The Program’, a feature film by Stephen Frears; the BBC TV film adaptation of David Walliams’ children’s book ‘Mr Stink’; ‘The Coming Days’, a feature film by Lars Kraume; ‘Sublime Boudoir’, burlesque show.
